These glass bowls are
manufactured in the Czech Republic for LeBijou. The process is called
"blown glass" which is used for art pieces and wine bottles. This glass
does not contain lead, so it is not considered crystal like the "cut
glass" bowls we offer from LeBijou. The "crackle" bowls are 1 ply of
glass, 1/4" with the "crackle" proprietary finish. This is a smooth
finish and will not cut you. The clear and colored bowls are 2 ply
glass, 1/2" thick, with the color sandwiched between the 2 layers of
glass. The etched bowls are 2 ply clear glass with the etching clearly
defined on the outside ply of glass.
